Questions About the Barrel Program?
Our distiller will carefully select from a variety of whiskey barrels and prepare samples and blends for you to taste. If you can’t visit our Colorado Springs facility, we would be happy to choose an exceptional barrel on your behalf. If you join us and personally select your barrel, our distiller will provide you with a guided tour of our facility and escort you through our barrel room, where you’ll see the barrels from which the samples were pulled. How many bottles will a barrel yield?
It depends on several factors such as age, evaporation, and alcohol content. It could be anywhere in the range of 150-200+ bottles, depending on your desired final proof, with each bottle being 750 ml.
Do I have to buy a whole barrel?
We offer half-barrels as well, but keep in mind this will limit some customization options.
How much does it cost?
This depends on several factors, but a good starting point is $10,000.
How long does the process take?
Please allow a minimum of 90 days from barrel selection to bottle delivery.
Do you deliver my whiskey in the barrel?
No, your whiskey will be bottled in 750ml bottles and delivered in cases.
Can I customize my label?
Absolutely. We offer a standard barrel-pick label, but we can work with you on designing your own custom label for an additional cost.
Can I bring additional guests for the barrel selection?
We will allow up to 3 guests to attend the barrel selection with you.
Can I keep the barrel?
Yes, but only when choosing the whole-barrel option.
